Computer vision demos well and fails quietly. Every module we ship is measured against blind human review of production video — not against a curated test set of our own making.

Criteria set before the experiment Each improvement round registers its acceptance criteria in advance. A change that misses them does not ship, even when the result looks good — rewriting the target after seeing the score is how teams fool themselves.
